Etermetal supply various kinds of custom shapes of commercial pure grade 2 titanium plates for industrial and medical application. We have 20 tons + Grade 2 titanium sheets in stock from thickness 0.8mm to 25mm for fast delivery.  Linear cutting, laser cutting, water cutting, shear cutting enable us offer any make to order plates according to client’s drawing or dimensions.

 

Grade 2 titanium is the most common and widest used titanium in industry as it is with high strength, good corrosion resistance and ductility. What’s more, it is very easy to machine and bend. It’s the best choice for many industrial applications not only because of it’s property, but also it’s economical price.  Etermeal can use grade 2 titanium plates cut into rings, discs, or drill into tube plate for industrial use according to client’s request. Gr2 titanium plates are nonmagnetic and bio-compatible. They are also welcomed for medical use. The plates can be used in dental, surgical implants, etc.

As the gr2 titanium plates are always used to produce large containers, most clients are care about what kind of material can be used to weld grade 2 titanium sheets? Usually it is better use the grade 2 titanium filler to weld grade titanium plates. And a variety of welding procedures can be using, such as gas tungsten arc welding, argon arc welding, plasma arc welding, etc.

 

Grade 2 titanium plates are not as hard as stainless steel. If you’d like to machine gr2 titanium sheets, you’d better use lower speed and make sure the cutting tools are sharp.
