Spiral Classifier Machines (MINING CLASSIFICATION EQUIP) There are four types of classifiers, high weir type single and double spiral classifier, immersed single and double spiral classifier.
Spiral classifier (Screw classifier) is widely used for distributing ore in the close circuit with ball mill, grading ore and fine slit in the gravity mill, grading granularity in the flow of metal
ore-dressing and
desliming and dehydrating in the
washing. Advantages are simple structure, reliable working condition and convenient operation. According to the principle that different grains are with different specific gravity and sedimentation rate in the liquid, the fine ore flows in the water and the coarse ore sinks in the bottom. The classifier that has machine grading by discharging from the top can filtrate the materials and send coarse materials to the feeding mouth and discharge the fine material from the pipe. The seat of the machine adopts channel steel and body adopts armor plate and the spiral axle adopts cast iron, so it's durable. The lifting equipment has two types, by electricity and hand.
Pioneers classifying machine is mainly used in the production flow of metal processing. According to the difference in sedimentation rate of mineral particles and mud, the particle sizes of ores with 14-325 meshes are classified. Waste mud or water for ore sand can be separated from the ores.

Difference between the high weir classifiers and Submerged spiral classifiers
FC submerged type spiral classifier machines are divided into single spiral classifiers and double spiral classifiers. Beside, they are also divided into high weir spiral classifiers and submerged spiral classifiers. If the overflow edge is higher than the center line of spiral shaft and lower than the external diameter of spiral at the overflow end, the spiral classifiers are high weir ones. If the overflow edge is higher than the center line of spiral shaft and also higher than the external diameter of spiral at the overflow end, the spiral classifiers are submerged ones. High weir classifiers in pioneers are usually used for the classification with particle size of below 100 meshes. Submerged spiral classifiers are usually used for the classification with particle size of below 200 meshes.
